Wow... 10 minutes of the most boring football I've ever seen.

Why didn't those stupid SBS Cameramen show the crowd more? Or at least a bird picking at the ground?

Can't blame either team to be honest. They both knew they were through (the only way one of them wouldn't have made it was if Switzerland scored 2, and that wasn't gonna happen).

I'm hoping Chille can beat Brazil now, would be awesome, but the card-fest is gonna hurt them as they now have 3 players suspended from that game.

Oh **** off mate. I gave examples of incidents you don't see at other clubs.

And Barca has more. Other clubs have 2 or 3 who might surround the ref Barca have the whole team - diving - nearly every player, trying to get others sent off, theatrics - all the crap in abundance at your club.

You're the biased one. Anything involving Barca, or Spain - you can't be objective. You support Barca so you're unlikely to admit the truth but others see it - don't you remember Busquets getting the Inter player sent off for virtually nothing? Sorry mate. I watch a lot of football and that was the only incident of its kind I saw last season. At least by far the worst. I'm sure you defended Busquets at the time with the same rubbish 'everyone does it' no. everyone does not do what Busquets did - only cheats do that. Can you admit he's a cheat? (an obvious truth considering the incident but I bet you can't bring yourself to say that)

As I say. You're biased.

I'm not biased because I can't stand Barca because of these incidents. Frequent incidents. It is the source of my dislike.

You are biased because you support them and continually defend the cheating. Why not be honest for once? Even with the Torres thing, you couldn't come out and say - don't like the Spanish players aggressively surrounding the referee - or blatant cheating from Torres, disgusting etc. Instead you qualify everything - even the most obvious of offences - trying to water down the severity of the cheating - and that is bias. Honesty wouldn't hurt from time to time. Because the Busquets and Torres incidents are inexplicable and can't be defended with any arguments or qualifications.

Disgusting night of football tonight.

Or a bird with her top off.

I wouldn't go feeling too sorry for Chile. I watched them against Switzerland and they were at it themselves, getting a man sent off and diving around like ninnies.

Stopped reading there. EVERY team does it. EVERY team has players that dive and cheat and fall down when they feel any contact. Until you decide to be objective about this, don't bother starting the topic.

I gave examples of incidents you don't see at other clubs.

Other clubs have 2 or 3 who might surround the ref Barca have the whole team - diving - most players, trying to get others sent off, theatrics - all the crap in abundance at your club. Messi is one of the few who can hold his head up high - the amount of times he bounces off fouls and continues on is to be praised and there is no theatrical rolling or carry on. He might complain on a hard unncessary, or unpunished tackle but no blatant cheating. And you would see this. Compare and contrast.

And the old 'every team does it' line does not apply. There's been two Torres incidents at the WC. There's a few teams who's players like to fall theatrically and make the most out of contact but it's not every team and those who do it disgust me. Not the sort of shit you get from the Germans or English - they don't make the most out of physical contact holding their face on slight touches or rolling around on the ground convulsing for no apparent reason. (there's other non offenders as well)
No a lot of players might feel an arm or an elbow and carry on because the contact is minor and not enough to knock them to the ground holding their face. While other players feel the contact, however minor and their first instinct is to fall, clutch their face, roll on the ground and try and get their opponent sent off. I hate that stuff. And I have every right to. I believe in fair play.

Disgusting night of football tonight. Hate seeing this shit.

Anyway mate - another argument between our goodselves no# 138. Bed time mate. :p

So first you said NO other club anywhere dives or tries to get players sent off except for Barcelona, then you changed your mind and said some clubs do it but they only have 2 or 3 players that do it. Which is it?

Bit of a contradiction there. Why aren't you deriding Liverpool after all Torres does play for liverpool.

But hey don't let the facts get in the way of a good rant.

Pretty clear AC meant to the extent that Barca/Spain do.

Personally can't remeber torres diving too often in the EPL.

I was saying not all players throw themselves to the ground holding body parts, grimacing in immaginary pain. Barca have several players who do that. Infact their whole midfield is like that. And it's all to get other pro's sent off. And I made the point that while existent at other clubs the extent and severity is non comparable to Barca.
As far as the WC goes - the surrounding the referee thing hasn't been common at all. I've only seen it a few times and Spain are probably the worst I've seen to this point.
Not cool. Especially for a slightly late, harmless tackle. And Ramos saying Torres was hit in the face? Pique's actions? No we haven't seen that with every team. Even if you kid yourself otherwise.

Torres throws himself to the ground quite a bit for Liverpool and it's embarassing at times - diving is one thing though. However, I thought this sort of crap wasn't the sort of thing he'd do.
Absolute w***er. And when Liverpool have half the amount who resort to the various forms of cheating your Barca heroes do (by the way Barca and the Lakers....) then we'll talk.

The Busquets incident was the worst moment of the CL last season. It was disgusting. But I bet you were proud? Is immaginary card waving, pestering the referee, theatrics, diving and holding non injured body parts in fake agony part of that famous Barca DNA? Or is it taught through the junior ranks?

And gee - you idolise that law abiding guy who does good things in Denver as well?

Oh wow... This post is so full of shit. I'm gonna reply in dot point so you can keep up.

1. I DON'T support Spain. This is the third time i've said it, hopefully it sticks.
2. EVERY team has divers and cheats, yes the Germans and English too.
- Germans were booked twice for diving against Australia, sure they don't cheat.
- English have players like Gerrard, Rooney, Cashley who are known to have dived more than once, not to mention players like Terry who are just outright dirty. (these are just examples..)
3. Yes, Busquets dived, I hate him because of this and have previously stated that I hate anyone who does dive, but just because he did, doesn't make the whole team divers. We do have a few (SergiB, Dani, Iniesta) but so does everyone.
4. I would like to know how Torres diving got you into a rant about Barca cheating, and then you call me bias (ironically to a cause I don't support; Spain).
5. I forgot that the dude who got Kaka sent off was Spanish and played for Barca. I also forgot that we signed DeRossi three years ago and he has since become a Spanish citizen.
6. Drogba is a huge diver, yet you don't seem to mind supporting him. Hypocrite much?
7. Your love-team Chelsea is full of divers and cheats, don't hear you complaining.

At the end of the day EVERY team exploits the ref by doing different things. I hate divers as well, and I hate when ANY player goes down, that includes Barca ones. But I am not the biased one here.

Feel free to carry on somewhere else as I don't wish to derail this thread much more than we already have.

Now that's just an outright lie. Torres has been diving since he was a wee little kid in Atletico.

oh get f**** why would I make that up? Ask most EPL fans if he is a diver and they will tell you the same. I like how you brought up his days in atletico despite the fact I said EPL.
