Grover and out

I really hope the club can find an off-field role for him, his courage and attitude on and off the field was nothing short of exemplary. He might also be handy at helping any future indigenous recruits.

Would be great if he does at Freo - he is doing that now at Subiaco mentoring younger players.

Is the fine lass in your avatar free?

If sooz was beside yakka in the cot, I wouldn't blame him one bit for thinking about Antoni.

I wouldn't blame anyone!!

Met him have you??

Crippa may be a lady, I have no ****ing idea.

But AG is one of natures gentlemen. Genuinely terrific guy.

Wow, didn't even know he had played 200 games. Fantastic effort from Antoni. Just goes to show how hard work, dedication, commitment and and 100% effort on and off the field can give you a decent AFL career. Which is an impressive feat. Has played more games than players with much much more talent than what Antoni has, because of these personality traits. Great person, and tremendous clubman.

Congrats Grover, all the best in retirement.

Could he step in against Melb if McPhee doesn't pass his concussion tests??

Edit: Jeez, what's up with Elvis? It looks like he's gone a few rounds with Danny Green, black eye, swollen jaw, it almost looks like his mouth is packed with gauze.

Surprised the North fans didn't boo him for getting hit in the face by one of their players.

Always punched above his weight. Glad he stuck through with us in the Struggling times. Im going to miss him. Living in SA its a Shame I wont see him Play his last game.

I was very fortunate to See Troy Cook play his last AFL game at AAMI against port in round 22, 2007.

Please Ross Lyon show some heart and Play Grover. Were Playing Melbourne. Hell the demons wont be interested in Winning this week so what do we have to lose?

Bump.

I work with Grover at Sport and Rec and just wanted to confirm he is a really nice chap. I saw video the other day of him and Gehrig (St Kida version) punching on and had a laugh. I passed him in the corridor and mentioned it to him and he had a laugh. I asked what he was saying to him and he just said he was stirring him up about losing it.

Groves is very humble and seems embarrassed when discussing his achievements. Exactly what you want in a professional sportsperson.

Did you listen to the interview that Centurions did in the podcast? Brilliant listening if you haven't.
