Was watching the 1999 GF in the early hours of this morning and noticed something I hadn't before. The Blues walked off the ground while our presentation was still going on....they didn't even stick around for the cup presentation. Bad sportsmanship?

Just read the most appalling insensitive remarks made by the Principal of Huntingtower School about the death of a student on a Year 11 camp in SA.

Here is the bit from the article that incensed me.

Huntingtower School principal Sholto Bowen said that whenever a school took students into a challenging environment, there was a potential for incidents to occur.

"We do our very best with our risk management procedures to mitigate that," he said.

"I don't think any organisation, could say that nothing will happen."

He said only a small number of incidents had taken place at the camp over its 40 year history.

"I am not making light of these. But we have to acknowledge that these things happen but that is the nature of outdoor education."

He said the death of the year 11 student was "absolutely devastating".

"I would give my life to bring back that life. It is the most devastating thing for me, the community and for that family. This is something they can never forget."

Cant stand jet skis or jet boats either. They have no consideration for people wanting a bit of peaceful escapism from city life beside a nice lake, beach or river

I had meeting with a jet boat when I was fishing up a river here a while back. This dickhe$d decided to do a 360 turn in a pool I was fishing in., but cooked his motor. It still makes me smile to this day, the look on this idiots face when he started drifting off downstream covered in smoke. Not such a big man now are you !
God is obviously a fisherman ...
