Windows Live.

Old matey cant get his Windows Live mail going.

I have tried and tried.

It is a Big Pond account.

What are the incoming and outgoing settings?

I had trouble awhile ago on my laptop . Couldn't get onto Windows live through google . So tried Moxilla firefox as an alternate search engine and had no worries getting in with that..

I am trying to configure the Incoming Mail (POP3) ...the interwebz is telling me to enter 'pop3.live.com' but I cant access the inbox...but I can send emails...its ****ed.

Thing is old matey doesn't know how to even write or send a ****ing email.....but has to have it working....because....

Yes the email address is bigpond but the client is Windows Live.

Old mate doesn't have Outlook but does have this Live.

Can send.

Tourists on Tasmania's roads....Seriously, off the main highways (and on some of them too) we have a lot of bends and corners, if you have to brake for every single ****ing one of them, then how about pulling off to the side for 10 seconds to let a local past instead of speeding up on the straight sections....

make sure you put the whole username@bigpond.com where it asks in the settings not just username without @bigpond.com.

(I'm massively memory-challenged, but that Queenan bit rings a bell, too. Only things I've read of his are 'Red Lobster...' and 'If You're Talking To Me...', so I'd say you're probably right about it being the former.)

As insipid as he can frequently be, 'Lucky (to be making a living through music) Phil' is vaguely tolerable. Comes across as an affable, knockabout bloke, and his "work" has a natural muzak sensibility that, while relentlessly dull, doesn't tend to inspire vitriol. Narcolepsy, yes. Vitriol, no.

Whereas (Auto-)BJ just seems like a wildly untalented, mean-spirited, self-important douchebag.

My grumpy 2 cents worth....

This country is bloody difficult to return to. After going on "journeys" with Telstra and Origin and every bloody service required to achieve that complex task of living in a house, the next adventure has been in getting our business going. Starting up a 'start up' aint easy in a country that sees outsiders as upstarts, and I am even a Melbourne boy. Now who do I speak to about the "journeys" into poverty and homelessness?

Friday night working Christmas party answer then kicked on at Cherry until after 3. Paid for it yesterday with a hangover from hell. While I can still tie one on my powers of recovery aren't what they used to be.

Did three laps of the Tan this morning. Was getting a bit warm. Quite annoyed at all of the young tackers and old tackers just casually strolling along a running track, four abreast at times with their dogs and prams and toddlers and other stuff, having no awareness of where they are, not caring about anyone but themselves. Should be taken out with a chain gun.
