6th year in a row to Phuket, first time here. Should have read the negative reviews before we booked, sure there are many more positive reviews but sadly we experienced the common theme in the negatives- very rude management, no care factor when there is a problem or if you request ANY changes. Sure, my husband did the wrong thing and swore out of absolute frustration at reception when it was very clear that we were getting the consistently blanket response of 'you get what you booked' and there can be no changes to that for any reason. We wanted a DOWNGRADE from the larger 2nd floor infinity pool room to a.....
and on and on and on...she went.

Let me clarify a few thing for the rest of our readers.
1.When you make a booking for a certain type of room and the hotel honours that booking by reserving the room that means that we cannot sell that room to anyone else. If on your arrival you change your mind about that room type and decide that you wish to downgrade to another room type then we can not refund the difference in the cost in any way.
2. Your husband constantly used the F word when dealing with our reception staff, The only time I swore was when I told your husband not to swear at our staff, your husband said that he didn't swear, I said " you keep using the word F##K". Your husband then told me to come from behind the reception desk into the lobby so that he could physical fight with me. All of this was witnessed by other staff and by other guests at the reception desk who commented that your husbands behaviour was disgusting.
