The news had Images of burned paws of peoples pooches. This makes my blood boil. Why the **** would you walk your pooch in conditions like today? If I see that shit, i’d make you take your jandels off and make you walk on the pavement.
Lattes wait for no one ever! I remember a number of shopkeepers at Rye a couple of years ago speaking with dog owners about exactly this. Many of them, the shopkeepers, would have water out for the dogs. And frequently, dog owners would not clean up after them if they felt the need to go while cruising the shopping strip. Pretty average.

Scumbag "neighbours" across the road, throwing food scraps over their fence into a park. Just watched them "bury" food scraps under a pile of leaves on the other side of the park. Blow ins for a couple of weeks a year, and certainly not joining in the neighbourhood. A couple of older ladies in the street have already approached them about their "rubbish removal", and were promptly told to **** off.
Start a compost garden boys, it ain't that hard.

It seems reasonable, at least to me, that if you have a holiday house, you'd keep in sweet with the locals who are there all the time to keep an eye on your place. Might be I'm wrong, or old and set in my ways, or just growing tired of ********* being scumbag *********.

Nah you’re not wrong. There’s no community any longer, people are mostly twats these days

Put their house on air b'n'b and spend the money cleaning up the park, or paying someone to do it.

I was just reading the long Age article in the 'Sympathy for *' thread and couldn't believe that in 2016 a physical copy of The Age cost $2.50. Googled what it costs now; $4.80 apparently. WTF!

Physical copies will be dead by 2036

news outlets such as HS and the age will probably be niche outlets by then, iam talking weekly times kinda superscriptions as gen X, Y and millinials pretty much use socials for their news.
It will come down to Advertising revenue and traditional media is under siege

dont think they could possibly dilute the adds content ratio any more in local rags? the LV Express is probably well over half adds but a few pages of news at front and a bit of local sport at the back.

the warragul gazzette is still a paid publication and is transitioning online with a paywall.

at least we still have the hill end herald, great for monthly rainfall figures and a Sudoku down the back.

Shepp News has gone to 3 prints a week; you can see the Real Estate section has shrunk dramatically the last decade.

The HUN will keep printing as long as Harvey Norman and
Binge exist..,but one of those is on its death bed

Am I too young to understand this?

Just grinds me gears because he is fair weather. When it’s all going his way it’s shitz and giggs and then within a match his brain can implode in to boorish and obnoxious behaviour

But, can’t deny he is gifted
