Wat!

I cleaned up yesterday. I must have won at least 50 or 60 prizes of 500 Euros - I will catch up with you in the Bahamas. I'm rolling in it baby!

Don't tell me it was a confidence trick!!!!!????

Over 60s. Let the good times roll.

ALDI is flogging Stones Green Ginger wine in a few weeks. It will cost five times what it did in 1977 but it could bring back some fond memories so cheap at half the price!

I just remembered that if you skull a bottle of Stones it hurts more coming back up than it did going down.

Actually, there are no happy memories that I can associate with Stones Green Ginger wine.

McWilliams Port on the other hand. It was a bit rough going down but an hour in yer guts and it came up quite smoothly and left a pleasant aftertaste, probably reminiscent of the French oak barrels it was fermented in.

When stones was $2 a bottle it was possible we crossed paths but the long term impacts of that, the port and Brandivino has resulted in some severe long term memory loss. Who are you again?

Not enough grumpiness happening soooo, I was walking home from work this evening and a blokes big friendly dog slobbered on my hand and then jumped up on me I told the dog to **** off and told the bloke to put him on a leash he told me to get a life I told him I had one but I didn’t have a dog but if I did I would keep it under control. It was in an area where dogs are supposed to be leashed. It really f Ed me off not least because there’s so much dog shit on my local paths and in the parks and on the ovals I f ing hate it. Sorry dog owners but keep your mutts under control or take ‘em to the lost dogs home 🤬

Loved it in the cold weather
Used to be the drink’ of choice during the 1/4 & 1/2 time breaks at the footy (for the players) when it was snowing at Dunkeld

I played a bit of soccer in Germany and the schnapps like drinks were a godsend in the cold. Frozen ground and snow up the shorts quickly ruled out slide tackles.

1986 and was Island Coolers with more alcohol than a beer the same size. Cheap as well.
Known in the business by their french name... Le Gopeners.

I am sincerely sorry that I have offended half the population but a joke cannot be left unsaid.

Yep, we had eskies full of them and West Coast Coolers at our Year 12 breakup in 88.

You can still get West Coast coolers at Dan's.
the initial WC coolers were quite strong 7 percent perhaps, i recall they banned them then they came out a lot less alcoholic something like 4 to 5 percent. a few female friends i knew used to give them a bit of a shake.

For some reason the local pub had cases and cases of southern comfort almost given away. Can’t drink it again to this day.

I'm the same. I drank a bottle of Southern Comfort on my 1st legal New Years eve.
Never touched it since, just the smell brings back memories. 😄
