Does anyone remember visiting Robs Carousel on Albert Park Lake in the 1970’s early 1980’s?

Sure do. Just before we went to Powerhouse to see the Alan Eaton Big Band. Robs had the full roller-skate waitresses and trays that hung on you car door at one stage.

How good was it; it was our special occasion place. We’d drive down to the country for the meal. Chicken and chips with the placemat to write on and then wait for the water fountains at the window. Getting the window bench seats was a win. It did have a big horse Carousel inside yeh?

It did - each time the venue was refurbed a little magic went away. But in that era was very special.

Sometimes chocolate milk does.

Also meditation/breathing exercises and visualisation. Dunno why but it works more than anything except choggy milk.

Sadly they dont work

Prescription ones are ok if you take them at the right time. I miss the old aspen dissolving ones that apparently cause cancer. They were effective at 4am
