GTA 3 or GTA Vice City??

Which one is better??

I have them both. GTA3 on PS2 and GTA Vice City on PC and I think there both brilliant games. I would say that Vice City would be better. If I had it on PS2 I think it would be even better. Rockstargames you legends!

What do you guys think?

They are basically the same with the same 3D engine and everything, except Vice City has a few very nifty add-ons (ie: motorbikes).

Both fun when they came out.

You can also shoot tyres down in Vice City. Vice City has better graphics I think though.

And Vice City has more cheats. I only use the weapon ones though.

yeh its fun to find a good vantage point and sniper tyres then see the car go off a bridge

also i didnt really like the story line in gta3 and i luv the vice city one

Vice city has more features. If you go from VC to GTA3 you'll notice the difference. Another thing, VC runs a lot better on PC's than GTA3 !!

Vice City is clearly better.

I have finished VC about 4 times on PS2 (with no cheats thank you), and then I went and tried to finish GTAIII, but it was alot harder, and I never even got to 100%.

I can't wait for the next one, but I can't find anything solid about it at all.

I've finished most of Vice City, but still have a few % to go to full completion, though I can't really be bothered doing all the jumps and tricks so it will probably stay unfinished.

Both games have their strengths/weaknesses. Vice City obviously has the better vehicles, but I actually thought the layout of the city was better in GTA3.

One thing I will say, is that it's one of the few games I would prefer to play on PC. Why? Because of the MP3 player and the skins you can download. Nothing beats going on a murderous rampage dressed as Ronald McDonald.

3 was the beginning of the open world sandbox type of game

But Vice City added to that with an amazing storyline and a bloody good cast of actors (has there been a better cast of actors in a video game?)
