Which claims the PS3 looks better, runs smoother and runs better, shorter load times.

Though really overall not much of a difference.

Kotaku says 360 has the more reliable framerate, which is more important for mine than an AA pass. But from everything I've seen and read, difference is pretty minimal.

I'll take the exclusive downloadable content in a few months when I'm finished the game, and seamless online for the full experience.

am buggered - played multiplayer after midnight till VERY late and now i am up taking kids to school - was very good and a laff - even in free roam with my mates. I can see this taking over XBL very quickly.

Lag wasnt bad but i think that had to do with that the yanks didnt really have it yet,

I think its fair to say no matter what system you have this is going to be one hell of a game. Graphical differences are going to be very minimal at best.

Has the exclusive DLC been detailed yet? If so anyone got a link saying whats in it?

Just ducked down to Waurn Ponds Harvey Norman in Geelong and picked one up off the shelves. There are still about 20 or so on the shelf there.

Also, what sort of Broadband speed do you need to run Online properly?

nope. the framerate is more steady on the PS3 version.

$78 at Big W....I walked into EB and asked if they would price match it, they said yes as long as they (Big W) had stock in. He rang and confirmed stock but not the price. I told him they had it for $65 so thats what I payed!!

Makes you think what the markup retailers put on videogames when there can be a $50 difference in price between stores ........ especially for a blockbuster game

Its not like Big W can eat a 20/30 dollar loss just to get you into the store to buy undies :O

Big W is large enough to get a better wholesale deal than say Game Traders can.

Been playing it for a few hours now, am very impressed. Beautiful looking game, and the driving is excellent.

To my knowlege there is jack shit mark up in games especially on release. Aroun the $10-20 mark. And I've been told bigger companies don't receive discounts for bulk purcahses unlike most other goods.

I guess it's just a case of attracting buyers to your store really...

I've got both and recommend a PS3, especially if you're buying the console primarily to play GTA4.

The PS3 version of GTA4 is said to be substantially better graphically. Also, you can get a PS3 + GTA4 bundle for $750.

As a piece of hardware the PS3 is just simply better, more reliable and will be a relevant console for ten years, whereas I couldn't see the 360 lasting much longer than another two and a half, maybe three years before Microsoft replace it.
