Yeah not sure dude, I would like to know as well. I was thinking you have to find the places before they would appear on the map.

yeah initially I felt the same, but I am going nuts on multiplayer so it will probably be 3 months before i go back to the main story!

yep, you get so involved in the story and then you realise you're a 1/3rd of the way through

So take your time, explore the huge world, do a bunch of taxi/drug/race missions.

That is a bit. In San Andreas wouldn't the main storyline only consititute about 49% of the game according to the in game percentage completed?

Mines locked up about 5 or 6 times now (xbox360) when switching from cops to robbers halfway thru a multiplayer. I can hear people on the other end and they have the same problem, but it gets stuck on the loading screen.

This game doesnt seem to be as deep(big) as San Andreas in terms of vehicles etc. San Andreas had everything under the sun, and large varietys of them, i can only find 3 different boat types for example, and 1 heli just painted different colours, while 1 type has guns. Stuff like you cant just grab a quad or a bike and tear it up in the bush, or up huge mountain trails, because there isnt much bush or mountains. Theres no planes to fly, and i cant find any buttons to use things in vehicles. As in SA you could use the forks on the forklift and pick stuff up, and managed to put a car in a mine dump truck, and when i was being chased tipped the car out which cleaned a cop up. Only played the PC SA tho, which apperently had a bit more in it than the xbox version. I also miss the gang warfare.

Multiplayer is awesome tho, just was a crook, and normally your hell bent on getting to the getaway vehicle(one for all) but i took a different approach, foundnd a rocket launcher and camped for a minute at the end of the street. Took out 2 cop cars full of dudes that come flogging around the corner and the game was won lol

So i've been playing this on my ps3 since tuesday and only yesterday it froze a couple of times for me. Normally it was only for about 10 seconds but once i had to restart it. Sat down to play it again today and it froze again and i had to re-boot, this time though the game didn't start and the ps3 home screen that normally comes up didn't appear but instead a message that said something along the lines of "hard disk could not be found" or something like that. I'm kinda worried......

I have had it freeze once in multiplayer, and a bloody disc read error, but that's about it.

Mine locked up last night during single player mode. For the record this is on PS3.

It just froze as I was driving under a bridge ala Saints Row on 360 (will never forget the 1st time that happened to me after completing 15 or so missions on the trot without saving). I had to turn it off to clear it but it was 2am and with an 7.30 site meeting this morning I was close to pulling the pin anyway

Will fire it up again later tonight and report back if it keeps happening.

For the record this is only about 15% into the single player campaign.
