Mine's a live-in one as well though...makes it harder imo.

She's been away over the last week though, so I've managed to pump through some levels and LOVIN' IT!!
 
I get to finish work a couple of hours ealier than my partner most days so that is my sneaky gaming time.

Hope she has another uni assignment due soon, i need to get my progress up on GTA.

Yeah you might be right, at least if they're somewhere else you can say you're doing something productive and can't see them. Where if theyr'e hanging around, you're within nagging range.

Meh, treat em mean, keep em keen I say :D

Recently I went to the lengths of buying a brand new lcd tv and getting a second Foxtel box for the bedroom - just to increase my chances of being able to play console :D

I had the same trouble and thought the bridge in the park was the last one (spent 2 hours doing attempt after attempt, going both cleanly and not so cleanly under it). When i finally did it, i didn't get the achievement :thumbsd:.

Have you been south west at the bottom of the map ?

There is a bridge around there, near a shipwreck and a bunch of firey/smokey poles. I went over and under a bridge near there.... both ways before the achievement unlocked.


I still need to play through the game again to get the 'complete under 30 hours' achievement.... i only just missed out on it in my last play through. Would have just kept loading the last save BUT i can't go any faster than i had been going during the last mission.

Yeah I've got those ones, theres a couple of tiny bridges over a little river in the industrial bit, still missing one.

I'm doing it again for the 30 hour one too, i missed it by about 20 minutes the first time, wasn't really trying until I was 75% way through.
 
It's going to be a pain checking the map and then flying under them again, i'd suggest hitting different points of different bridges by this i mean, if you've gone under it one way..... go back under it again in another direction (ie: if you've gone through one heading north, go under the same bridge but head south and likewise if you've gone under one heading east, go back under it again heading west).

I'm pretty sure that one of hte bridges near the industrial section near the shipwreck is faulty (well it was in my case and i read about it on other forums) i got the achievement by going under the bridge near there several times, approached it once it didn't work, turned around and flew back under it and i got the achievement. You've probably missed another bridge somewhere, i was just relaying what happened to me.


And i wasn't really gunning for the 30 hour achievement on my first play through the storyline, i only noticed i had missed it once i finished the storyline (and tried to improve my time in the last mission, once i realised how close i was to getting it). I doubt i'll get it in my current play through, even after not making as many armor or food trips as i did in my first game... i've wasted so much time just by exploring and doing random things :D and some premeditated - ie: going to the police station carpark, and breaking into cop cars for free shotgun ammo :thumbsu:.

I make good time in some sections, but then i think for the hours spent in the game... the percentage doesn't boost up accordingly. On this play through i have only died a handful of times, so i can't say i've had to repeat missions this go around.

Yeah me, although just having a break from the game for a few days.
Chucked in COD4 last night and played that for a bit online.

I'm about 65% done on GTA, i'll get back into it in the next couple of days or so.

You managed to wrangle GTA instead of the other game you were getting, or did you buy it as well?

Unfortuantely, you are not experiencing GTA IV in it's intended high definition glory. Just try to ignore the framerate issues, long install, and slow loading times.

nah i got the GTA bundle for 570 after trading in my PS2 and games.
 
Sick as game... I played it most days after work for the first few weeks.

Then just got over it, just started playing again over the last week to try and get 100% and some more achievements.

Finished off the text message cars last night... ____ me thats alot of work for 20 points and 2/100%.

So far I've done 84.08%

I found that they actually appear on the map when your in the chopper, well on most occasions anyway, they would not always appear though. And the ones that you had done would then dissapear.

Never the less their is 3 bridges in a row close to the really low one in the park that you speak of, that bridge being the third... maybe its one of those.

Otherwise print a map off the net somewhere and do them all again. I printed a map and crossed of as i went, simple.

It really isn't that hard and didn't take me long. I only crashed once doing all 14 lol. And I wasn't looking forward to it at all!

I did the funeral mission last night and it's time for my first spoiler. Anyone know more about this?

My mate is well ahead of me as he played it flat out, he said in his game Kate is killed when those dudes rock up, yet when I did the mission she wasn't even injured let alone assassinated! Does anybody know why? We have basically chosen the same choices in the 'flip a coin' parts so far.

Yeah she died in my game too, but I think it was during the cousin's wedding...?

Kate is dead? Damn ive been trying to kill her and Packie for the last few weeks but they just keep coming back

Ohh maybe that is it then? Got a wedding and funeral mixed up possibly! Oh and yeah I killed Packie many times during the bank mission, sometimes when my escape car blew up and he didn't bail like I did. He's a tough bastard.
