Guernsey framing?

Does anyone know ofpicture framers that do Guernsey's and can have the writing written on the back boarding like these frames?I am not sure if it is called lithograph or something similar?

Alternatively does anyone know who the club used to frame the members only" wharf pylon" guernseys' in 2013?

I know 'The Frame Connection' have done work for the club previously and were even a sponsor at some level.

I've had guernseys framed by them, good work but I'm not sure if they framed the 2 you have shown above...

Pilmont Framers on Torrens Road, at Croydon Park, just before Days Road heading towards South Road.

I picked up from there a framed signed Port Guernsey from 2011 that someone had framed who had won it in an auction but didn't go back to pay for the job. So I was lucky at the time when I asked if they framed guersney's, when they pulled out the frame Guernsey to show me which I purchased for the cost to frame it..... $250.

It doesn't have individual signatures, however it doesn't mean that they can't do the job, because they have placed the certificate in this frame I have as well just as you see it in the pictures above with the full team photo.

However, there are plenty out there......

The Greek there should be able to help you. I've bought a bit of memorabilia from there, it's a pretty cool place. There was quiet a bit of Port Adelaide memorabilia last time I went. And if I can remember correctly the owner supports both Port Adelaide and Geelong

the frame connection at Tea Tree Plaza - my fiance just had a cycling jersey given to me by Alejandro Valverde fully framed with a picture for valentines day and it only cost her about $300 which is pretty cheap compared to most places that I had quoted previously. They send the card bits off to someone else to do so I am assuming they can do the printing.

There's a difference between a custom framer and a retail framer and it's more than just price. Custom framer shops usually have a heap of framing samples (frame corner cuts) and they use quality materials that are fit to purpose, you pay extra but you get a high quality product that lasts and actually protects whatever you're framing. Retail framer shops are usually filled to the brim with prints already in frames that you can buy off the floor, if you have something framed you need to tread very carefully as the materials may be cheap and the backing may be MDF which eventually stains whatever you're framing. Proper backing is a cotton based board which breathes and doesn't stain. I'm no framer but I've seen first hand what quality framing is and honestly, you get what you pay for.

mine was custom done - obviously not instore but offsite. everything they did on it was custom - they had options for everything, they stretched the jersey so it has come out perfect and the frame quality is great - its massive to the picture below is an A3 photo all for around $300 - ive had other places quote me near $1000 for the same thing.
