we'll wait and see if he becomes consistent. i hope for his sake he does cos he'll be used by our other defenders to come out of defence and rebound regularly just like sat'd if he's out there for us.
lets hope he continues with sat'ds form and cements his spot.

We have just got to hope for some consistancy, but he did look good down back.
Exactly right. Has had a tendency to go missing at previous clubs, knows he is surely on his last chance though. At least we (and he) knows he has the goods though, just has it put it all together on a regular basis.

Has still got me beat how someone can play AFL football in a wig though?

I hope Goo does well, but assess his performance at the end of the season, not after one nab cup game. In his first kick for us, he scored a beautiful super-goal, and continued to dominate the Wizard cup, then the first 9r ound of the H&A season. After his 7-goal bag against West Coast in round nine, he didn't play one good game for the rest of the year. He played 3 or four good games last year, but with him in the side we were usually one-man short.

IF Guerra can sustain his good form throughout the season, he'll finish top three in your B&F no worries, but that's a massive IF.

True that he dropped off as a forward for the saints, difficult position to nail at the saints with their forward line. Pretty hard for him when the ball is going to Riewoldt, Kosi, Hamill, Gehric, Milne, etc. How could he be consistent in that side?

As a link player hopefully he can flourish at a new position, get given more game time (benched heaps by GT) and use his skill to set up down the ground. Some of his delivery was very promising, and we picked him because of his physical presence as well.

Very early, but I wont buy into this he'll drop off because he did at St Kilda argument.

I saw both games at the Dome in the double header.

Guerra is fitter and running harder and a little bit quicker. Trimmed down and has good muscle tone. Good kick and quite good distance with it for a small player. Is a good pick up for a young team who have a lot of kids (especially from the 2005 draft) who need time to develop.
Got a bad rep as a bit lazy and a party boy and the test will be if he is able to keep up his level of fitness and dedication as the season goes on.

So far so good.

What a great pickup and it was excellent to see some genuine hardness on the ground for the Hawks on Saturday. Teams will be looking twice when going for the ball with Guerra, Hodgy, Lewis, Ossie and Brown running at them from all angles:thumbsu:

looked really good off half back, either there or in the middle with his hardness and skills, but if that doesent work out, you can always throw him in the forword pocket where he can hopefully sneak in a couple of goals!!
