When I was in the RAAF and located in Qld, me and a mate bought a Lions membership so we could watch footy live on a regular basis. Kept my Tiges membership the whole way through. This was in the 90s when we were truly shite. Kept the same seats for years. Scared the shit out of our "friends" around us when the Tiges came to town though. Turned into a right feral.

And in 2019 that would be half the Gold Coast’s fan base as well. A lot of them are Victorians who have moved up here and support the suns as a 2nd team.. like my Dad’s cousin - originally from Melbourne like the rest of his family, lives in Robina, has a Suns membership, but is actually a Western Bulldogs supporter.

Tbh I’m surprised they’d jump ship to a team that’s doing just as terribly as Richmond...With Richmond's season already over we're starting to see signs of their supporters abandoning the sinking ship. How many more have jumped off and who here from the Bay can raise their hand in honestly and say they've also had enough.
