On Easter Sunday??

Ok, so you are obsessed, but no need to be an obsessed idiot to boot.
on Easter Sunday?

what difference does that make? were they all in church?

Seeing as they don't have to work tomorrow, the crowd should be bigger than normal today.

I guess they wanted to see every second of a real footy team play. :thumbsu: Today was good, went to the Port game, gave my usual share of **** to all the w**ker port fans, came home and literally the Crows game started 30 seconds after I sat on the couch. Magnificent. :thumbsu:

Do you always need to hurl abuse rather than address the issue? I'll ask it again slowly.

What... time.. suits... Port... supporters?

Always with excuses about programming from the league, tell us what time slot would get Port fans to turn up to games?

25,000 is terrible. My apologies for overestimating the loyalty of the Port fans. At least give me credit for assuming your supporters would go close to actually cracking 30000.

Are you an idiot?

All crowd numbers are down on a easter Sunday.

25,000 is what everyone predicted and thats what we got. Not bad really considering the same game in Melbourne would of got 15,000 Max.

The way Port are playing expect to see crowds of 30,000 or more being average this year.

Looked like a fair few people at the Essendon - Fremantle game.
Hahaha, yeah. :p For one thing, Fremantle has never ever drawn any crowds in Melbourne no matter how well or badly they're playing. If we're talking a good Essendon crowd at TD, we'd be talking 40,000+. 25-30,000 is a pretty mediocre crowd for Essendon to draw

If you knew who I actually was, you'd retract that. ;)

The fact remains that Port fans wont come out and support their team which is a real shame.

Yes.. Your are an idiot. Hows 25,000 Pathetic, its not all that much less then we usually get. Have a look at the crowds over the last 5 years on a easter Sunday and tell me whether there isn't some kind of decrease in crowd numbers. not to mention a **** 12.30 timeslot. Essendon got 32,000 today.. for a game that was up there for match of the round.

Dont you have sellouts everyweek but there is always 10,000 no shows?? To me that seems more pathetic. Ah well was a pathetic performance by your lot last week anyway.. Guess some knew it was coming?

Bandwagonners? What like you lot in 2004.. your crowds were 35-38,000 that year. Dont you have 50,000 members this year?

But yeah anyway keep talking out of your ass...

This is priceless, coming from you.

Fact is, even in the modern world, a lot of families have family gatherings at Easter. Add to this that we were playing one of the lowest drawing teams in the comp - of course the crowd is going to be down.

Was that answer slow enough for ya?

You are talking about timeslots which don't suit Port. Seeing that most timeslots don't suit Port, the question was asked (and evaded again): what time suits Port supporters?

Saturday nights.... In all seriousness I couldn't give a **** about the crowd because all that matters is that we got the 4 points today.

as for talking out of your ass

the average crowd for 2004 was 40,000 (39,878) that was during one of our worst years and many of those games werent sellouts.

The thing that is really pathetic is that Port have a larger percentage of no shows than Adelaide. You have to equate it to the actual number of members and tickets sold. Considering tickets sold and the port season ticket holders there would have been about 10k no shows today, so if we work out 35,000 as the maximum today (which I believe it to actually be maybe higher than that, but I will do that to keep it realistic) and 25,000 turned up is a 29% no show rate.

As far as percentages go that would work out just a bit over 15k not turning up to a sold out crows game (which is an attendance of about 36,000) which never happens.

Thats were people like Rucci are dumb for using "the no shows" to insult Adelaide and people that use Rucci's rubbish are even dumber. Cos the facts say that on average a bigger percentage of Port members stay home than Adelaide members.
