Guess What? Another AFL Live 2003 Thread :D

I couldnt believe it. It was the 4th quarter and i was in the Prelim Final. 7 points up and had just got a goal when the ump bounced the ball in the middle and the WCE ruckman BELTED the ball past the 50m arc and over the boundary line - i think theres a problem there. Anyways West Coast kicked a point and then like i was kicking in and i wanted to just hurry up and get down the other end - kicked it to the man on the mark. Goal Eagles - Rest is boring - ended up losing by a point. Has that even happened to you guys - the ball being thumped out past the 50? The camera work couldnt keep up with it because it went so fast :O

Yep, I've seen the ball being thumped by the ruckman from the centre bounce all the way to the boundary (usually upper leftish side of the field). Doesn't happen all that often though and not sure what is needed to reproduce it regularly. I think in some way it is related to the positioning of followers during the centre bounce. Too bad about that Preliminary Final loss, rfctigerarmy

im kinda lucky i saved the game b4 the match so i won the premiership. OMG have you seen when they get the cup, it looks so bad. Campbell ran in a straight line holding it above his head. The Congratulations part looks alright tho.

Yeah victory lap is not terribly exciting, I must admit It was lots of fun though when the Cup used to be glued to the captain's hand when he waved it in the air above his head

same thing happened to me yesterday - at a centre bounce the opposition ruckman belted the ball, which travelled exocet missile style over the boundary line in the forward pocket. didn't cost me a prelim tho
