The other day, I stopped off at a Quick Trip to get some coffee on the way to work. Walking past the magazine rack, I spotted a Kansas City Chiefs yearbook magazine. Good enough for me, I snatched it up and headed for the counter.
The guy working behind the register and I have a speaking/joking rapport as I'm in there nearly everyday. He rang up this magazine and it cost ten bucks! I couldn't believe it. A ten dollar magazine. So I says, "Jeez, for ten bucks the damn thing should have pr0n in it. Don't ya think?"
Well, his eyes get wide and he turns white as a sheet. I didn't think the comment was too out of place considering the jokes we had already swapped in the past. I turned to leave, and standing just behind me (the entire time) was a Catholic Priest. Dressed in full blacks, Roman collar and the obligatory big silvery beady cross slung around his neck. That explained two things.
As far as I know, the Priest hasn't ratted me off yet to Bluey & Fred, so I don't see where Vanders' photo should be taken as particularly obscene.
