Already released in America, gets released this month sometime in Australia. Might already have been released. Had many a good review. I will be getting it with the game + guitar, so i will have a full band set with the world tour stuff. A new inclusion is that your band doesn't have to be guitar, bass, drums and singer; it can be anything, be it 2 guitars and 2 singers or even 4 drummers. It has also added party play, which as far as i can tell just plays through the songs, and you can come in and out on any instrument at any time.

The setlist is the real killer for Guitar Hero 5. Instead of sticking to it's roots like the original games (when bands like Pantera, Megadeth and Iron Maiden were common) they bring in bands like Kings of Leon and David Bowie.

Yeah...no thanks.

Although there are a few good metal bands in there (Children of Bodom, Rammstein for example) but it still disappoints me.

I just checked out the playlist..... I personally think that they chose the wrong songs for certain artists (eg. they should have put in 'The Stroke' by Billy Squier instead).

20th Century Boy is a surprising inclusion and a good one at that. It has a sick riff and is one of my favourite T-Rex songs.

There's a lot of generic, untalented 00's bands in there though.

Piss off, Bowie is a legend. Great to see some real diversity in the songlist, something for everyone. Believe it or not, it is possible to enjoy Guitar Hero and not be a metal fan. I really like it, and I think it'll be a great game.

Songs from the list I like / am looking foward to playing. Guitar Hero doesn't have to be all about metal dude.

seems like a pretty good set list Kerrbs :/

hmmm..... why did it take till Guitar Hero 5 for 20th Century boy to make the cut?

would seem like a pretty obvious choice for this type of game.

Tv on the Radio - Wolf like me.... sold!!!

Great to finally see A Perfect Circle's Judith in a game. :thumbsu:

Think I'll be passing on this one. Have got all previous GH's except Aerosmith and Smash Hits, but I'd rather just buy more songs for Rock Band I think. Especially with the upcoming Rock Band Network due out soon.

Until Activision get their act together with supplying more, better and cheaper downloadable songs (rather than a new game every few months), they are way behind the eight ball compared to Harmonix in my opinion. At least they've added the option to import GH4 songs.
