LOl you got no idea mate. Tell me when you have seen gumbleton play a afl game. Never your a tool.By the way kennedy has played about 4 afl homeandaway games.
Ive seen Gumby a few times as a junior and i can tell you he doesnt drop chest marks on a regular basis (hi Kennedy)..

I think Gumbleton is a classier version of Kennedy and I like the look of Scott, but both players will be guns and better footballers than Ellis, Dowler, Roughead and Birchall. But I still wouldn't swap Josh for Gumbleton because that trade would be a nil all draw.

A bit harsh mate!

I'm sure your Josh Kennedy will turn out OK and it's far too early to be writing him off as a player.

Hows Roughead going ? still looking for a position he can play ?

Does nothing as a forward - gets a bag kicked on him as a defender.

I guess you should have taken the Griff :)

Gumbleton, The KPP were stronger in last draft than the 05 draft with Gumbleton being the 1st one taken. Gumbleton was playing CHF for W.A over Josh Kennedy despite being a year younger. He is a beautiful kick, and has the best hands along with Hansen for someone his age i have seen in a long time. He is very skinny at this stage, and probably wont do so much at senious level, as where Kennedy is huge so i expect a bit from him, so if it was based on 2007 Kennedy, but from a career point of view Gumbleton for sure.
His an Absolute gem, so happy we picked him, i wanted him all along.

Great thread!

Comparing one player who has played a grand total of 9 games against one who has played zip. Not to forget the 9-gamer had a broken shoulder before the season and hardly participated in the pre-season.

But even better is the fact that people already writing the "9-gamer" off as being a spud. Lol but that's bigfooty for ya, bunch of lost-cases running around.

JK didn't drop many against "Juniors" either - lets wait and see how Gumby goes against men.
I reckon Roughy will make it as a star on the field one day......................they'll need a longer Hawk suit though.:D
