Possible. I just had us finish 7th on the ladder predictor with 4 wins and a bunch of Essendon-friendly results. Like Port beating Carlton (R19) and Kangas (R22) in Melbourne. And one of the 4 wins absolutely must be against Adelaide as they are competing with us for a spot. We have a lucky draw in a way because a lot of the sides competing for places are playing each other wheras we only really play Adelaide and to a lesser degree St Kilda.
Just locked in who I will likely tip for the remaining games, and with 4 wins we finish 8th! Go figure. But seeing how I am travelling with my tipping this year, I won't be putting my hard-earned down on it!
