To win a premiership you need post-season experience and a tough finals loss to spur you on in tight moments deep into the finals series. Can't just win a premiership in their first year of finals. 2017 onwards for me. Still yet to see whether they'll backflip like the Suns and head into a U-turn though.

Very open this year and they're certainly not without a chance.
I'm leaning more towards Sydney, Cats or North though with the Giants the team to beat next year.

Disagree. Didn't work for the Bulldogs in their consecutive prelim losses and it won't work for North imo.
Either you are good enough to win it or you are not. GWS are good enough and can win it without a heartbreaking loss.

Brisbane, Sydney and Hawthorn lost the semi finals the year before. Adelaide is the anomaly there.
