Sometimes it's about momentum. Would have been nice to get the full four points the other week. The odds would be much better had that been the case. Nice to still be in it though. The Bulldogs will be a tough proposition.

After watching replay I was really impressed with our backline and our contested marking all around the ground was clearly superior to Freos.Hetherington had her best game .Brush was good, Barr is getting better each week.Barclay,Cora and Williams up forward all have a presence in the air.We also Created good space for our forwards as well.Gum was Gum.No reason we can't win our last two especially if our backs can be as hard to score against again.Without Brennan and Huntington we are definitely a very good chance.Hopefully be a decent crowd

Interesting - from the sound of it the allegation was she said/she said and since the complainant didn’t want the matter to go further it hasn’t.
If it had been substantiated the AFL should have taken action - even if only to counsel the harasser.

Gum is such a great story. Then so is Al! Then there's Cora....bloody hell there is so much to be sentimental about with this group.

Outstanding win for the AFLW Giants! Second place on the ladder for the moment. The women have played so well this year, such a huge improvement on last year. Just needed a touch of class (Gum, Eva & Staunton) & some self belief.
At the start of the year all I wanted was for the girls to be competitive in each match and apart from the game against the blues they have done that and so much more.
