Mids need to turn on for the second half or this will not go well. We know they have the class they just need the composure and to take the right decision. Missing Whitfield in this one

Pretty sure that hit into the boundary screens hurt more than he’s letting on.
He lay on the ground wincing for some time before getting up for the kick.
This. He's not throwing his body into contests like he usually does.

He's had at least three bad hits on the same shoulder over the last month and every time he's looked hampered afterwards. Against worse teams it hasn't mattered as much because he still got space but Hawthorn are double teaming him and forcing us to use other options to beat them.

Dont think we have pushed Hawks at all. They have just played the same plan all day and we havent adapted a single thing. Pretty much just going half way up the field on the wing, go backwards, switch slowly, turn over, hope our defenders force a behind. Rinse and repeat.

Also for some reason, everytime a player is down its a Giants player. Are we just super reckless?

How often are three of our players going to tackle one hawk?
They just leave spare Hawks to collect the crumb, handpass or incorrect disposal.

Mids not working today and forward line ineffectual, Cameron injured and Greene cant get near it but credit to Clarkson for the game plan to shut down the opposition game plan and the players for applying it
Outcoached and outplayed

Heartbreaking to just watch TOJ stroll toward that mark and then walk away.

Some times you feel we can come back but there’s no effort from a lot of people out there.

Now for 15 minutes, I get to watch hawks kick to kick because not one of our team will man up.
They just jog up to the mark.
Repeat.
Clock winds down.
