News out this arvo that Nathan Wilson has put in a trade request. This is on top of young mid Matthew Kennedy and Devon Smith requesting trades over the last few weeks.
With their list already starting to thin out over the last few years, is it worrying signs for the expansion club ?
I personally think it was bound to happen at some stage after they won a few flags but for it to be happening this soon is a concern I think.

They may regret trading Deledio in as a missing piece for the premiership, but out of the players leaving I see Wilson as the big loss due to his kicking abilities. A player like Kennedy looking for opportunity is common and Smith is shopping himself in his home state for $$$.

It is not an exodus.

Kennedy isn't best 22 atm, Smith is good but appears to have a dodgy knee. Wilson is a loss, but he is a HBF, not the most important position on the ground (unless you're West Coast's recruiting staff, then you only recruit HBFers.) I don't think these 3 = exodus. If Kelly and another player, say Whitfield left, it would be more significant.

Wilson is one of the most important in their team. His foot skills are a real asset in how they play. He'll be a huge loss.

Exodus of spuds and fringe players maybe.

Who have they lost that is irreplacable? And even when players leave they get in highly valued draft picks OR clear salary as required.

Bloody smart by them, especially when you look at how badly GC ****** up.

Spot on , with out that 50-60 meter laser to break out of D 50 they will be relying on Zac Williams and a half cooked Heater .

Deledio will have to stay back if he is not staying back in the rooms copping the dry needle on his calves of doom .

Wilson is a bonafide star addition and if it is Freo , then they are onto a good thing .
