Wilson is one of the most important in their team. His foot skills are a real asset in how they play. He'll be a huge loss.
Agrred hes a gun one of the giants most important players. His run outta defence and elite footskills makes him a big loss and and even bigger gain if its freo hes going to. Lucky giants have many players with good foot skills and theyd wanna with all the top 5 picks theyve had.

Thank you you proved my point. We actually have Adam Kennedy, Matt Buntine both in the side when injured and both tracking for a full off season. We also have Harry Perryman on the fringes and will develop further with an off season as a first year player.
Only an absolute fool would claim to be competent to assess the loss of Wilson, without even a cursory knowlege of the options on our list.
So we're back to the trolling thing.
Lol. You think one of those you mentioned is a readymade replacement for one of your best players ? It will put a dent in your flag hopes for next year not having Wilson in the side. Only someone lacking knowledge of the game would see it otherwise...that's you champ.

Yeah, Wilson kicks it long, but is he really that accurate or damaging though? Gets it less than 18 times a game, and more than a quarter of his disposals are turnovers.

Already 24 years old, so I don't think he's really got a whole lot of scope for extra improvement, either. He's replaceable.

Been saying that for the last 6 years.

Our core keep signing.

WHy Didn't Kelly sign for 6 years then cobber ? Wilson and Smith gone ... Stevie J dead , Heater last legs , Mumford last legs . Deledio last Calf . Griffen on the move . Kennedy and Haynes looking likely to depart . Lobb may decide to leave . Zach Williams will be chased ... Hopper was a good signing . Tomlinson will be swayed back to Victoria . Blacktown will be wasteland in 5 years , without flag !! no soul in the club .

Why would I mention players not in best 22 ? We're discussing one of the best players in your side. Not those that will struggle to replace him.
Wrong again, I actually told you that Bunts and Kenners were in the side this year when injured, Perryman was an emergency for the PF, so very close. It was either him or Tomlinson and we ended up pkaying Tommo on the wing.
That's my contribution to your education.

You dont know our list very well clearly. Who would you say our small backs are?
I'm guessing without Wilson, and with everyone fit, the back line next year would look something like:

B: Haynes - Davis - Buntine
HB: Shaw - Tomlinson - A. Kennedy

Was always going to happen

Who really wants to play for that entity long term and when the shine goes of the place and they run out of 393883 draft picks it will be a ghost town.

I've said it since day one it simply won't ever work off field

It's silly to suggest Smith and Wilson aren't losses. They're both good players, they aren't irreplaceable but losing two good best 22 players is always a loss. Wouldn't consider it a mass exodus though.

You didn't even have a match up for Tomlinson but he still got a spot over Perryman. Nice straw clutching though, Champ

Tomlinson played HBF running up the wing as a link and was one of your best players when the game was on the line .
Your knowledge is defunct .

That was for Boko Troll !

Just discussing it on our board, I honestly dont know. It's possible. IMO Corr plays because he's very good, is flexible and an ideal zone player. Traits he shares with Bunts. I definitely want Kenners out there, just for his heart if nothing else. After an off season into Perryman he could well be pushing to be picked as well.
Bottom line is we'd no doubt prefer to keep Wilson and his field kicking is irreplaceable. He hasn't been running much though and 0layong as a one on one defender. We definitely changed tactics midway through last season and stopped running it from our back 50 nearly as much and it's not been Wilson when we do.
It is an area we have depth.
