In what was an enjoyable afternoon, GWS needed help to enshrine a double chance as they're not doing anything in finals and we retain maybe getting a better draft pick. Yay?

Another year, another season of Wilkie going basically 100% tog and playing every game.

So easy to take him for granted. Should be AA again, and has held the backline together despite losing Howard and Battle this season.

Overall, a great game, and a good showcase of our youngsters and what we’re building towards against a top 4 competing side on their home deck. They all showed something today. 2026 gonna be fun.

Well, that's it for another season. Had its ups and downs but ended on a pretty good note, hard to be disappointed with the performance today. We are putting together a plucky young team that is really starting to gel. Wilson, Keeler, Hall, Tauru all had very solid outings. Phillipou a bit quiet with limited minutes but still hit the scoreboard. Trav had some good moments but was a bit quiet.

Feels like this is the last time we'll see a few of these boys on Saints colours, we're going to look a whole lot different come Round 1 2026.

You felt like the whole team bought in this week compared to the previous winning weeks. Like NWM signing gave them confidence to go out and play proper football. Young team, but great promise a lot to work with that's for sure.

I'm hoping we do phase out players like Hill because I think the younger brigade will be able to do his job.

Great to see Wilson get some goals, he was really struggling throughout the year, so hopefully this performance gives him the confidence to know he belongs.

Well that was my favourite game of the season. We were the better team by a mile.

Wrapped for Wilson, he is going to be a weapon. Box and Garcia going to be guns. Hall already a gun.

Keeler and Collard with some great signs.

Cooper Sharman is underrated on here. He is an absolute star, only going to get better.

Throw a fit Pou, TDK, King and Owens in next year we destroy the plastics, who were very very lucky today.

Great way to end the year.

umpire any future games involving St Kilda. They could provide vision of YEARS of inept decision making from Fisher in our games to push their case.

Considering we had 7 blokes under 21yo to their 2, and had Macrae play less than half the game, on their home ground, with them needing to win to secure a home final, that was a hell of an effort.

Nas missing almost all of that last 10 or so minutes probably cost us any chance, along of course with the onslaught of free kicks the umps managed to find for them, and miss for us, that last 15 minutes.

So much to work with going forward and I’m as confident as ever that we don’t need TDK or Aleer.

Back in our young talls and save that money for guys who want to come in 12 months when we’re hopefully on an upward rise and don’t have to offer crazy overs to attract them.
