If Richmond came to West Coast and said "we'll trade you Rance for Mackenzie", your club would take that in a heartbeat.

If West Coast came to Richmond and offered the reverse deal, we'd tell you to GAGF :$

Rance is absolutely on a different level to any other KPD in the league, he basically carries Richmond on his shoulders at times.

Am loving what Liam Picken has become as a player. Has limitations in overall ability that would have had many considering him a hack early on but he has become a very important cog in the Doggies machine. Many of you wouldn't remember his old man, Billy. He had heaps of ability but perhaps never reached the heights he was capable of. He was a great mark and was also a bit of a loose canon. Genetics are a strange thing...

Watson with the help of the anti obesity drug.
I like how Watson was only good on drugs even though he was leading the Brownlow at the half way point the previous year before injuries happened.

He came 2nd in the B&F in 2006. Has been a quality player for far longer than peanuts give him credit for.

Absolutely, but it's funny that exactly one year earlier to round 13 he had more votes than anyone else, and then gets injured.

He's not a star but Zac Dawson went from being embarrassed while at Hawthorn to playing some solid football in two top sides (St Kilda + Fremantle)

Was barely 20 years old, playing his fourth senior game at the start of his 3rd season on the Hawks' list when this happened. I think most backman of his age, size and experience level would have gotten bullied by Anthony Rocca at that stage.

Anyone said GAJ yet? his first 4 years he was a serviceable but rarely game breaking small forward who turned into an absolute beast midfielder.
Never considered GAJ a hack. You could tell he had heaps of natural ability but thought he mightn't be much more than a handy Milne-like forward. When he built that engine and work rate though that natural ability became a full range weapon.

Yeah true never really a hack, but never really considered anything more than serviceable in my eyes. And as a Geelong supporter often frustrating as he'd go missing much like Motlop did this year.
