he is still in the named team in the HS today but so was Gibbs last week. big loss if he is out, has been a fantastic pick up but better to rest him now rather than risk him and have him do something more serious.

Any word yet on who is replacing him yet?
I am not a big fan of Bentick at all, but he does play the MCG very well for some reason.
I would actually put Armfield in, play him as a defensive foward on Macloed. I would be confident in Carrotts doing a better job in the guts than Bentick.

Not trying to discredit the OP, however the only news of him being out was from a poster in another thread, followed by this OP.
By this stage last week, several people had heard that Gibbs was out. Do people think Hadley is still a chance? For all we know, the OP just went off from what the other BF poster said.
EDIT F^ck. Cause we were the only game on this arvo, I thought for sure it would be on TV. 3 weeks now without seeing the boys in action, instead they're showing old s^it like "Keeping up Appearences! You Melbourne suppporters shouldnt be allowed in the gates next week. Stay over there and let us Perth supporters enjoy our one saving grace : p

I guess the point was that it shouldn't be asking too much for supporters to be able to spell the names of their own team's players correctly.

We support a club, we dont need to worship every individual player to the point where we need to study their names. When they start studying how to play AFL, we'll start studying their names..
