And Pavlich told to move on by the coach if he doesn't like the direction the club is taking.

Yeah, good one Troll. Smiley faces when someone's out injured for the season.

Remind us to have a laugh next time Gardy does his knee.

I wasn't trolling, I was giving you an update coz their weren't any threads on it yet. The smiley was because someone has to put on a brave face.

And you're the last person who should be commenting on trolling, hoss.

Yeah, right. Whatever you say. People that find long-term injuries amusing don't understand what it is being an AFL footballer.

I think you need to realise that the news producers can cut a news conferences to infer anything.
CC's quote about pav was about the fact that top players would want to move on if the clubs off field is unstable here is the actual question & reply from CC:

Connolly said that without a cemented senior coach at the healm many players would be enticed to leave the club for more stability.

“If there’s instability here or if Matthew Pavlich can’t see that this team can one day win a premiership and be a great team then I would suspect that he would be encouraged to go home. The players are the most important people in the club I believe and we’ve brought them together, they trust in each other, they’re frustrated with each other to be honest, but at this point in time they really believe in each other and we need to keep that going and the key component to that is stability.”

So did he single out Pavlich of his own accord? Or was he mentioned in the question?

I don't think CC is saying Freo would encourage Pav to leave for his own wellbeing but that the Adelaide clubs would be encouraging him to move back and their efforts would have more weight if Freo was in turmoil.
Pavlich and Schammer are contracted until end of 2007, two years away - you'd think CC's tenure would be resolved by then.

That's why I was completely shocked when I heard those words come out of CC mouth.

CC is getting desperate. He's implying that if he goes Pav will leave, so the supporters better support him.

Very disappointing.

I am not sure if that is what he is saying but, he certainly would have influenced Pavs decision to extend his contract.
