Hall is a legitimate bad-ass with the fists, it's true.

There are some under-the-radar tough SOBs out there in the AFL, too, though. Isn't Troy Simmonds some one-step-below-Chuck Norris karate guy or something?

Simmonds doesn't strike me as being that quick....

According to www.chucknorrisfacts.com:

Chuck Norris is so fast, he can run around the world and punch himself in the back of the head.

I know a girl who bitch-slapped Baz at Twister one night. She's tiny - about 5' nothing, but feisty.

She's still alive too, so Hall did have some self-control at the time.

And respect too.

Although if it was on the footy field I doubt he would've held back.

Maybe he'll retire and start a boxing career that he's been rumoured to have interest in.

Barry Hall would absolutely smash anyone in the AFL if it was on.

Jonathan Brown is a beast, but people don't realise how good a boxer Barry was/is. I'd love to see it happen as a fight fan, but i'd put a bundle on Hall.

He'll leave AFL soon and box, and probably make more money than all his AFL contracts.
Mundine vs. Hall.

I think the only people who would show up would be haters. :D

That's why she's still alive!
Tiny, petite women can get away with almost anything.
Trust me, I am one of them. The tantrums I've thrown, the hissy fits, and feet stamping are unbelievable.
I am not proud of them, but I've been getting away with it since I was a little girl. Human nature, a funny thing!

But you have to wonder what Barry did or said to make her react like that!

Unlikely to see Bazza for a few weeks I would have thought. One wonders what the Swans will do with him at seasons end. Just gone from one problem to another this year.

I think the issue is more serious than it looks, according to the Swans football manager Andrew Ireland there is no way to tell when or if Hall will play again it's a long long way back for Hall.

He called her friend a ____.

From what I remember, he was absolutely correct. But good on her for sticking up for her friend.

What rhymes with glut?

Is there something else involved here, like depression?
Just seems like an amazing fall from grace for one of the games elite players.

After watching On the Couch and Footy Classified last night, I think its safe to assume that Big Bad Barry won't be lining up against us at the Dome Sunday week.

Just to put his omission (and Goodes' near omission :() into statistical perspective:

Round 15, 2007: Sydney 25.12.162 Carlton 10.15.100
B Hall: 15 disposals 9 marks 4 goals
A Goodes: 19 disposals 2 marks 1 goal 3 tackles 2 hitouts 1 Brownlow vote

Round 22, 2006: Sydney 21.10.136 Carlton 6.8.44
B Hall: 15 disposals 11 marks 3 goals
A Goodes: 26 disposals 9 marks 4 goals 2 tackles 3 Brownlow votes

Round 3, 2006: Carlton 11.8.74 Sydney 12.9.81
B Hall: 17 disposals 9 marks 1 goals 3 behinds 4 tackles 5 hitouts
A Goodes: 18 disposals 5 marks 3 tackles 2 hitouts

Based on the above, I would suggest that for his own good Hall should focus on the issues that are troubling him and not worry about football for a few weeks while he gets himself right.

I also think its a blight on the game that Goodes only got 1 week for being a repeat offender of making head high contact with opposition. The head is meant to be sacrosanct and he just keeps transgressing and getting away with it. Its time the match review panel sent a message: multiple Brownlow medallists are not above the law and are accountable for their temper just like all other players. :thumbsd:
