The umpires are gutless. They spent the whole time telling Barry not to do anything stupid. How about telling the North players to **** when he is leaving the ground and not involved in the play. North started it and when Barry tries to finish it they chuck a tanty about him beating up Thompson.

Exactly right, umpires pay Barry a free kick and the whole thing would've been over, but no they gift North a goal which just lets the North players believe they can keep getting away with it.

I haven't seen it yet, but based on the descriptions its good to see a defender annoying the hell out of a forward again. Sadly missing from the modern game.

Thompson is being completely protected by the game. Do you think Thompson would try that on in the street? No, he's ****ing gutless. Barry was well within his rights to do what was necessary.

You obviously have not seen the incident, Hall managed to restrain himself and reacted better then most would in the situation.
Something was obviously going very wrong at Sydney and with Roos to not be able to control him. I'd have a look at my own backyard first.

Gutless act. IF he had of done that to any other player, he would have been in a lot of trouble. I am sure if he tried the to our JB, he would have not been impressed either. Yet then the North gorillas come in and as a group have a go at him, even when he is leaving the ground..How is that acceptable in any match.

HALL is the one that is asking for it. He has been asking for it his entire time in football. If he wasn't such a fiery prick then Thompson wouldn't be after him like this. That is a fact and you all know it.

Hall deserves this niggling treatment for playing the way he has for so long. What do you expect other teams to just sit back and take his intimidating ways? Ridiculous. Unbelievable the people sticking up for Hall this is the guy that knocked someone else out coldly on the field.
