Didn't see the outcome, but I assume Brisbane were fined after Merrett and Selwood goaded Barry a few weeks ago.

You can tell the Roos are being coached by a Kray brother.

If the MRP has any sense at all, the Roos involved in all the commotion should get more weeks than Barry but the MRP doesn't have any sense.

Thompson did. Kept pushing Hall - Hall gave him one in the chest - Thompson starts complaining directly to the umpire that he should get a free kick.

Yeah its true but they are such a young side with a new coach, and a new game plan there will be some losses on the journey.

Also they are missing their stars in Hale etc, at least thats what the commentators will have you believe.

Also its another sellout crowd against an interstate side....ooops doggies are a victorian team.

And it takes four players laying into big barry........should have gone to the GC kangas.

Did you miss the aftermath of the game against Hawthorn last year?

i think it's both brave and stupid for obvious reasons

lol at people throwing a hissy fit for pushing a player trying to do his shoelaces up though, as though this has never been done before. I'd bet large money that every single one of our clubs has had a player do this to the opposition before. never seen a port player do it but i'd bet one has. it's stupid to do because it prevents someone from being able to play, but don't act all shocked and throw around all these descriptions as if it's never happened before when a player you support has done it

Intimidate? Hall was gong the ball, Thompson trying to niggle. If this was different era he would've had his head knocked off.

So that makes Thompson the one doing the wrong here? You actually think niggling someone a bit justifies being knocked and getting who knows what kind of damage done? Perhaps you'd like to take an issue like that to court and see how it goes?

Well yes he is, Thompson is known to be cheap and dirty player. The elbows to back of the head of Jonathan Brown caused the AFL to change the interpretation of the rules.

In real life I doubt I'd have someone elbowing the back of my head to react to for your so called court case. :)

The one thing Barry has to stop doing is putting his arms in the "I'm not doing anything" position and then swinging them when someone comes near him, collecting them in the head with his upper arm or elbow. Nothing good can come of it and he will get reported one day for it.
