Yeah, you got a point there.

"poor" is an understatement.

Hamish & Andy got the arse today.

I enjoyed the first episode, but it trailed off after that. Channel 7 did it no favours with the timeslot, which was shocking, given the age of these boys.

Last show this week.

They really should have given this show some time to find its feet.

When Seven saw how successful Rove had been after his stint at Channel 31, it seemed Seven thought 'well it worked for Rove, so it must work for these guys!.'

Put them on at 10.30 at night, and give them a chance to develop.

It worked for Rove in 1999 when he was on late at night (consider getting the DVD people, it's pretty good) and Merrick and Rosso are doing their show in a late slot now.

I thought they were just okay. Just not enough laughs for a one hour show - some of the sketches were just ordinary, and other bits seemed to be over produced.

Good luck to them though, sketch comedy is extremely hard to do, and hopefully they get another gig soon.

Yep, that's the one.

I'm disappointed. Sure, it hasn't been the greatest show but surely it should be given time to finf out what works, what doesn't any change it appropriately.

Absolutely.

Anyway, they played it pretty well. They started a show on Fox FM Saturday mornings a couple of weeks ago, I guess they realised they weren't going to be given much of a chance if the show wasn't an immediate success. Hopefully they can go back to channel 31 and do another show like Radio Karate where they have total creative control.
