You are not a free agent when you are not out of contract-see Mackie & Lonners for us, have served the req time but have contracts beyond 2012. Same with McIntosh, is contracted and therefore not a free agent.

We should have a look at the GC for a tall. Dixon been spoken about, he would a good get and has shown plenty at CHB the last few weeks. As for ruckman, well they have a few. Smith obviously will be #1 there for a long time ahead, so guys like Hickey, Gorringe may be an option when off contract. Next year we should stick with our own stocks, see how a few of these youngsters go game time wise at GC and if our blokes havent come on, then have a look. Id rather trade in some mids right now, or a big key defender to free up Harry a bit.

Has Griffen re signed with Freo? He will really be something and may be persuaded as Sandy and Clarke are ahead of him. Then again Sandi is just about finished so Freo could be reluctant to trade.

Sorry, I'm not PO, but having watched Majak Daw tonight playing for Werribee vs Claremont, he looks a great prospect, and when will he ever play for NM? Goldy is a fit, young, durable , skilled workhorse. May depend on Petrie.
Too old by about three years. How many obviously gettable mature 24/25 players are there. Probably none.
What would it take to get someone not obviously gettable. Probably too much. What would be the cost of Leinburger for instance? High!! Not sure I see the guys thats the perfect fit for us.
