Hammer. Nail. Head.Thing that worries me, is that most of us who are into our footy learnt to catch the damn thing between the ages of 5 to about 12 years old. I've always noticed that the kids who never really learnt to mark properly when they were youngsters, always struggled for the rest of their careers.
Hoping like hell that big Hammer can prove me wrong.
He gets his hands to the ball so often, either out in front on a lead (not many can go with him) or over head (very few match him in the air), but then he spills it more often than not.
Drops too many marks for a ruckman let alone a CHF.
To me a CHF needs to be a "natural footballer" in that they read the game well, make decisions quickly, strong marks, quick leads.........Fev is the only guy who fits the bill but wouldn't be able to run all day doing it.
Clokey has looked very good thus far in the role and will surprise a lot of people this year IMO.
Hammer hasn't convinced me yet he can turn his massive potential into quality AFL output.........but I like everyone else hope he can.

!!! Thats including a solid back up in jacobs
