Maric will have a HUGE impact when he returns..... the reason is, he provides a marking option around the ground. This Creates ball movement to him. It gives the players confidence to take the long option and thus we will start moving the ball quicker.... he also is a monster around the stoppages... gets his hands dirty and is ok below his knees.... he is like that extra midfielder we have been missing. .... He also pushes back into to defence to help out... how many goal saving marks has Hampson taken this year???? oh yer thats not his job??? blah blah .... He can also push forward and take a grab and kick that much needed goal.... How many times has Hampson drifted forward and taken a vital mark this season and slotted a goal???? oh yer thats not his job?????blah blah blah..... Maric tackles.... he knocks the ball on.... his kicks hits targets.... he wins his own ball. ..... Sure our hit outs might drop back a few but I know what type of Ruckman I would have chased and its not a Hampson type. ..... Both Jesse White and Andejs Everitt were much cheaper and more versatile options than Hampson.

Are we paying Hampson ? Seriously we have lost it. A non participant can't mark kick run tackle chase or hit the ball 2 cm away from his body

The guy can't mark so I give him exactly zero chance of playing in the team when Maric is fit.

That dropped chest mark in the pocket yesterday was utterly pathetic. I honestly think Stephenson is the better option.

Sadly, I agree. A big guy that can't mark is a liability especially one that rests forward. Such a shame. His ruckwork seems pretty good.
