Hampson should never have been in trouble in the first place! It was a fair bump, and it hit him quite low, it was just the fact kepler was already on the ground! people who want the game to turn completely soft go away or Stop B*tching!

It could have been worse for Bradley after seeing how close the ambulance drove got to the medical staff and the prone Bradley.

I can't believe the Freo medical staff didn't have a neck collar on him when putting him on the stretcher...........not good enough these days.........just not good enough. The saffers are used to trying to pick up 125-130kg props... you dont want to be 4-6 little ambo officers trying to carry someone that heavy all that far.

It refers to before the ambo got out there, when they put him on the frame. Most frames have one attached to them for quick access.probably coz the ambo didnt have one
they are used to the no neck rugby players!!!

Freo medical staff should have one as part of their travelling kit.........clubs take these things with them, and they would have had them (I would hope) at training in case of any suspected spinal injury.
You can see the Freo Doc trying to stabilise his neck with his hands, but they should have had a collar.......lucky for Kep he didn't injure his neck.
The point is they would have had to have taken some of this equipment with them to their training camp.somehow, nothing was conventionally run correctly during that game!!!
most of the equipment is stadium owned or provided. i doubt they have the adequate safety equipment coz
A) the ground probably cant afford it
B) clubs didnt look into this problem and rectify it before the game
C) the stadium/SA probably not as anal as australians are about safety
To blame the local stadium would show complete stupidity on Freo's behalf.......they should have had their own.
More a professional disappointment. Is that really so hard to believe?
Just watching the game again.........the Freo Docker trainers ran out with a stretcher that had the AFL logo on it, among other advertising............again, very shaby not to have the collar.![]()
