I would say the most likely situation is he had a partial cruciate tear or damaged another ligament, and he's had an arthroscopy. You are on crutches for a couple of weeks and he should be back playing in a month or 2.

That's what I've got to look forward to in a couple of weeks

I doubt and pray it wasnt a partial cruciate tear as both of those are bone to bone ligaments so they have no way of regenerating... and after a knee reco myself last June I don't want to see Hammo missing for the 08 season! I hope it was just a bad grade 1 medial/lateral or a medium grade 2 which would mean an op to assist the natural healing and should only be 4-6 weeks...

I also find it quite strange that you think you know when people are being sincere or not. Do you have some experience in posting mock concerns for injured players?
