Any word on his injury? I didn't see after half time due to having to go to work. I saw his hammy being worked on on the boundary and thought he may have been a chance to come out again.

If Chappy is going to miss more than 2 games there may be no point getting him fit the way the team is playing at the moment...

He'd missed those two weeks as a precaution. As I recall the hamstring from a couple of weeks ago was only a twinge and barely required him to take those weeks off.

These injuries are really starting to shit me.

Chappy has been one of my favourite players for a while now, and it was disappointing to see him go down again.

I honestly believe that he has been a (the?) major player in your success in the last few years...the game is poorer when he's not out there.

Hope it's not as serious as it looks.

Even if he could have run out the game we had absolutely nothing to gain by risking it. He had his jacket on and wasn't iced up or anything so I can't see it being overly significant.

I didn't know he had gone off until my sister told me. No idea why as i left the radio in the car :s It really does suck as i think he could have had an impact but even a slight injury isn't worth risking at this stage.

It's pretty sad i am glad to get away with a game with only 1 injury. 2 weeks in a row with 1 injury a week and i am happy. Much better than the 2-3 a week we were having.

Bomber is quoted on the AFL website as saying he'd expect Chapman, Kelly, S. Johnson, Harley and Ottens - provided he gets through the VFL today - to play v Freo.

Chappy looked pretty ashen faced on the bench. Didn't look good.
