Typical cheesy Will Smth. Anything he touches turns to cheese.

No doubt, everything the man touches turns into gold, despite not many of his films ever being seen as true classics.People love to hate on Will Smith.
Fact is he is one of the few actors whose casting instantly leads to huge box office returns. Clearly, box office numbers doesn't equate to a good film but to say "anything he touches turns to cheese" is to deny what he is and that's an incredibly bankable star.
In terms of his performances, Smith rarely lets his role down. You might not like the roles he plays but he invariably does a good job and ocassionally does a truly great job, like in Ali or Pursuit of Happiness. Even in Hancock, it's not his fault the movie was two paced and had a shaky plot, his performance was solid.

Hancock will still draw massive box office returns.
Jeez, shes a nice looking tart though ey?I enjoyed it - and not simply because of the "funny bits". In amongst the humor there was a level of darkness and Will Smith did a great job of selling himself as an utter prick.
They could have done a better job with Charlize because here is a woman that can seriously act (Monster) and yet she was given over to a fluffy unformed part.

I'd be willing to look past it myself, shes got eyes that would melt my ____ away in seconds. She certainly is. Small knockers though. Never really noticed it until watching In the valley of Elah.
I Am Legend went downhill as soon as new characters were introduced. Was worth the watch. I thought Will Smith was quite good. Played the role well. Could have been better if the plot didn't go from extreme to extreme. Glad I went to see it.
7.5/10 for the 1st half
6/10 for the 2nd half
BTW I think I did a 1st half/2nd half rate for I Am Legend aswell. Will Smith movies end badly![]()
Why on Earth was that kid French??
In the movie theatre I was in, people laughed when Hancock asked the name of the kid who was bullying the main characters' son because they said "Michelle". So everyone laughed thinking the kid was being bullied by a girl.
Then we meet "Michelle" and it turns out he is a French kid with the French male name Michel (pronounced Michelle).
You need to go look up what "cheesey" means. Clearly it has gone over your head.People love to hate on Will Smith.

Agreed. 6.5/10. Great start and then got a bit weird and boring. Last 20 minutes were enjoyable.Yeah, okay without being outstanding.
Enjoyable.
