A big guy who has a massive motor and is a great mark. Can you go wrong? Yes... but i dont think so.
 
Sounded (and looked) disappointed. And it didn't sound like we talked to him much beforehand. We know who we were after..;)

Why wouldn't we talk to him? It was unlikely we were getting Gumbleton. He must be lying.

But anybody (thats not a roos supporter) would be disappointed being picked up by us if they listen to the media at all.

I think Hansen was an Essendon fan, so he'd be pretty disppointed that they looked him over. He would have dreamed about playing for them, and he's just missed out. Just put it down to youth.

I'm sure that once he has his first meeting with Arch and the boys, he'll be in love with the club soon enough.

Nope he was a Richmond supporter, his hero was Richo. Never know, might end up playing on him.

Ah, cheers for that. Well, maybe the poor lad was unhappy because for most of the time he's been alive, Richmond have been North's bitches.

Anyway, he should have a chat with our other ex-Tiger, Harro.

Lol i dont know where this unhappy stuff was comming from! Ive watched it twice when he was taken.

To me he was packing himself more than anything, with the media etc, was nerves more than unhappiness, he look thrilled when he got his polo and was speaking to dish.

I was just reading it from KingyOrTheKing's post. I haven't seen any of the footage myself, but I did hear him on SEN. He just sounded like any other shy, inarticulate teenager. His parents sounded very happy that he'd be with a Melbourne based club though.

He and his parents were over the moon at coming to North, there was a very, very real threat that Bombers would take Berger, we would take Gumby and he would be off interstate to Brisbane or Adelaide. They are all very happy to be locally based.

He is a country boy, not sure how close he lives from Ballarat, if he gets a gig with NB he could be relatively close to home.

We may currently have the worst training facilities, but by 2008 they will be in modern facilities so no need to cry over doing it tough. :p
 
Firstly, cut your hair son. That is a mental hair cut.

I wanted Gumbleton, but this kid can play plenty and might be a chance for senior footy in early 2007.
 
Interesting that he only trained once a week at Gippsland. Could mean that there is an unreal upside to him.

Anyone who is 6'5", takes hangers and has a beep test of mid 14 and trains once a week has a huge upside. Get over Gumbleton and get on the The H train

Nanna Hanson, with that hair cut. I was looking forward to this kid playing with us until I saw THAT hair cut. He is going to cop it, not only from our boys but everyone he ever plays against. He may never live it down and if he's not mentally strong enough we may well have waisted another draft pick.

What a **********ing plonker to turn up to trade day with a hair cut like that. And if I'm not making my self clear FRICKING IDIOT!

Boy I wish he had gone to the Bombers so I could give THEM shyt.

The only hope is he did for a bet that gave 10 grand to Mens Health.

He better be a good footballer.
