This leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. Looks like he pulled a hammy in the dying minutes. Any word yet on how serious it is? We'll probably be OK against Sydney without him, but I'd love to have him in the team when we're back on the road.

cramp perhaps? im hoping that is all it is! I'm sick of our key forwards continually going down!

I think it was only cramp. He had a great game and just looked like he cramped up when on the lead.

Well hopefully thats all anyway ;)

Wishful thinking perhaps. It looked very similar to gardy's hamstring against Geelong. He just pulled up short and limped off the ground.

What really sucks is that the game was over. There was about 3 mins on the clock.

Tough to tell the difference, if you cramp up in the hammies it looks pretty much the same as a strain.

That said, given how hard he worked all day on a pretty warm and humid day at the Gabba, odds would certainly be cramp. When he went off, he was stretching, and then just walked up and down alongside the bench- I doubt very much the medicos would have let him walk if he'd done anything to his hammy.

Thanks to Ch9's sterling 0.5 second wrap up of the game, I guess we'll have to wait to hear if he's reported injured.

Why wasn't he off the ground by that stage? He's one of the players we really need to put in cotton wool once the result is in the bag.

The commentators didnt make much of a fuss about it, so it musn't be too bad. They said it only looked like a cramp. I expect he will play next week.

It's only cramp, he'll be right for sydney (aka Floodney).

It was a cramp. Considering he had 20 touches and played most of the game.

Go look for your story somewhere else.

IMO opinon Hansen played his best ever match of AFL yesterday. I'd give him 1 vote in that match. Perhaps he is the next Carey?

You just cant tell the way some people have been pumping up Hansen around Perth of late. I remember him not being able to kick at Swan Districts....those were the days, sitting on the grass at Steel Blue Oval, watching Paul Johnson trying to run....ahhhhhhhhh
