I'm actually celebrating two milestones today, as by a grand stroke of luck this just happens to be my 1000th post to BigFooty.

I would like to thank everyone here for making this foreigner feel welcome, and for teaching me so much about this great game that so many of us over here will never know about and will miss out upon because of it.

And no, I'm not in Melbourne currently, that was last year. I'm home, where it is still the 14th, so it's still my birthday despite it being the 15th there already. I should be back in late May, and this time I'm going to stick around long enough to get married and apply for dual citizenship.
