I know i will end up with egg on face but im inclined to think that Haradasun the boom colt has a little to much boom for what his done, and is excepting alot of credit because we are looking for a champion horse after post Makybe Diva.Any one else agree not saying his a good horse just saying if it was trained by a Dan O'sullivan i dont think it would be as big. I know thats a obivous statement but still.Any way not saying it wont win this weekend, but not sure if it will win a cox plate or Doncaster. Any thoughts??

Agree 100%

Only time it came up against a good horse in MF it got beat.

It is a good horse, but not as good as some people make it out to be.
Hoping it gets done by Efficient this weekend to knock some of its fans back to earth.

A first up, winter coated MF at that...

UNfortunately Efficient wont show him up this w/end as is being soley set for the big one..... But no doubt if cherry ripe would slaughter it...

Still think MF is a big go againt HAradasun this week....

Go put your money on Miss Finny and Efficient then boys and give me some good odds on Harada for once.

He hasn't even been tested yet (barring the dud ride loss), he has easily accounted for Gorky Park/The One etc as Efficient did.

I backed them all during the Spring, I hope they all go on to be stars of the turf, but I'm in the Harada corner...can't wait til get gets a chance to really let down and show us some of the Elvis fighting spirit in a close one ;)

Its funny what different ppl see in horses.
That day I was on course & in fact was the day that Haradsun won me over.
I backed Efficient all through the Spring but up to a mile at this stage I would back Haradasun everytime.

i dont think there in against each other. When haradasun came down the outside to win the vain it was off a steaming hot tempo and what i think were B grade horses. When he hit A grade Miss Finland he failed. Alot of people would argue that Haradasun should have won well im not that sure.

MF although not winning at the highest level has been very competitive. Against her own age she has been a champ, against her own age and sex she has been unbeatable.

Whilst Haradasun may go on to better this, he still has the job to do.

I've go no real allegiance to any of them but this Guineas is probably the most Ive looked forward to a race in a long time.

Im not one for the hype horse but of all of them,Haradasun certainly has something about him.
Id be very surprised if Efficient could get near him, even at 1600m.
I need to see Efficient again,my memory of him is that he was too good for horses who didnt stay.I doubt he'll have the same luxury at 1600m.
As for MF,I hope they keep her against her own age but I bet they dont.

Not saying he won't win just saying people like you obiously have a very high opion on a horse thats only serious tacticaly race he lost to finland. I think Harada is in agianst nothing agian and should win. But when he races in the small field and tacticaly race such as the coxplate etc. he will have to show a better turn of foot then he did last week and a few weeks before that.

Its funny what different ppl see in horses.

I can't see efficent beating haradasun this week but maybe in the Cabury Guineas in a few weeks time.

A better turn of foot? Nash Rawiller said himself that coming up to the home turn he gave Haradasun a little dig to move a bit closer and the next thing he knew he had made up four lengths and was sitting outside the leaders. I think he has a pretty good turn of foot buddy.

Haradasun as quoted by some 'Proffesional' in Europe as the most exciting horse in the world, isnt he worth something like 20m right now? Vasil would be a deadset nut to throw him against anything but Bgraders as a 3yr old. In saying that I would have no problems in backing him against the toughest middle distant runners going around, I think he could handle the step up against the likes of El Sug,Pomp,Desert War,Marasco. MF has done so and done so exceptionally well and Harada is most certainly superior to her.

Anyone who believes that Haradasun was beated by a better horse in MF is in la la land, the big boy was given the all mightiest murder run of the century and still almost piped her, he had 3 or 4 lengths on her in 100m, take he note MF was at her peak as well.

Im not bias to any horse, I love efficent, he is an exciting horse to watch, to see him him reel them in on Derby day with a huge huge huge leaders bias was something special. MF is a warrior, has a huge turn of foot and would have given El Sug a run for his money the other week had Williams parked her out of traffic and eased her to the grand stand early on.

I hope Efficent gives Harada a run for his money this weekend, but its not gonna happen, it wont happen in the Guiness either, the spring may be a different story.

In saying all of this I think Miss Andretti would brain the lot of them over a mile if she was set for hit, she just keeps hitting the line and looks like she is barely exerting her self.

Good weekend ahead.

Was beaten by the terrible ride that day, would've won easily otherwise.

CAnt see how first up with the Winter Coat on is at her peak... Though everyones different....

ALso, are you serious about Miss Andretti? - Rewayaa would brain her over the 1600... and his not even close to the best 1600m horse in Aus.... How about we try her against RTW also....

time will tell with harada, comparing pretty well with elvis at this stage and hope he goes on with it. Only query I have is fu peg.

Miss Finland was headed and fought back that day, haradasun had a crook ride but not as bad as everyone says.

Really, its amazing how many people on this board get mail.

Or back him this week,or both?

And everyone thinks Lloyd's the real trainer down there
Gee,I better not say this is straight from the horses mouth then.....

Ok,traditionally not great judges jockeys though???
Whats his previous "mail" been like?

I think you'll have Efficient on your own this week so odds will be ok.

Including when Newitt got months at its 1st run?

Apparently Lloyd's sold Activation to Dale Sutton.

Was it the same bloke who told me about efficient (after his 2nd run, 1st win in Sept)
He also talked up a horse called revise 4:2,2
and wouldnt shut up about how much a freak Gallic would have been but for injuries (came out after that with a 3rd in the MV Cup @ 40/1 and $9 the place and a win in the Bendigo cup)

very hard to match up these 2 petential stars who shortly could be flying the flag for Australia in Dubai and overseas. I would like to see Haradasun show some grit and win in a hard fought battle pullng away and would like to see Efficient be flying down the outside to show he hasnt lost his old form. Hard race and will be watching rather than investing.
