You do understand that you do not have to test positive to a banned substance to be banned for 2 years. Right?

Not to mention it that Essendon's sports scientist were said to be choosing drugs that could not be detected in a laboratory, in effect showing that it was a concerted effort to cheat.

you're right. Hearsay and speculation are much more definitive.

Look, it's really quite simple - concern something dodgy going on, blood sent for analysis, nothing found.
Everything else is pure speculation and politics.

yup! All speculation and politics! Essendon are in a great position once the evidence comes out!

That's why your club are currently in court trying to stop evidence coming out :rolleyes:

The Essendon circular logic argument.

1. Essendon: We will be in a very good position once evidence comes out.
2. ASADA: Players and club have no idea what drugs players were given.
3. Essendon: It's all speculation there is no evidence whatsover that we took banned drugs.
4. ASADA: We believe we have enough evidence that Essendon may have taken banned drugs.
5. Essendon: What! Let's go to court and stop the evidence being used.
6. Go to 3 and repeat.

None of you clowns here realise that the action the club is taking is the QUICKEST way to resolution.
If we lose THIS case, then we will respond individually to each notice therefore making it a much, much longer prospect.

Of course, people here know best :drunk:

hahahaha what the hell am I reading. Is this seriously how you guys think.

You are in court for 1 reason and 1 reason only. Your club is petrified by what ASADA has uncovered and is trying it's best to get out of punishments on a technicality.

If you, Essendon and it's players were 100% confident that a banned drug was never used, you would be literally falling over yourselves trying to get ASADA's evidence to be made public to clear your names.

Why would you want to refuse to clear your names?

That must be why ASADA was fighting for discovery not to be widened right? Not wanting to hand over evidence? Because they are so confident they've got this in the bag.

Their own statutory laws do not obligate them to hand over any evidence at this point. The players have yet to be charged. They have only been given SC notices. They can see all the evidence they want once they front the panel.
Why do Essendon supporters keep saying this????????

Have you been asleep the last few months? No it is because it is standard ASADA procedure not to hand over evidence at the SCN stage. It is done at the ADVRP stage so nothing to see here.

Because that's what they've been spoon feeding eachother in the cult into believing is the case.

Any normal sane person for instance wouldn't say "Where is the evidence" whilst their club is trying to hide the evidence, but in the alternate universe that is Essendon they believe that's a valid comment. :D

But don't worry. Even Rolf Harris's wife stopped coming to his trial after a while, after she realised that sticking up for those you love even though the evidence is obviously pointing that they are guilty is a waste of time. One day it will sink into their heads and the tears on their face will be delicious.

You must be thankful that Dank, as cunning as he was knew to make sure the drugs they took would not test positive. Theer are plenty of ways to do it. Means nothing as far as ASADA are concerned, hence the SC.

Because through the court it can be handed over early and they are still fighting it. For players that are yet to be charged this board is very certain of their guilt... to go as far saying that the only reason we would intervene at this stage is because we're guilty.

You realise by now they could almost be in the ADVRP having their hearing and seeing the evidence for themselves?

I will say it again. A SCN is not a request for a guilty/not guilty plea.
