Anything less than winning a final and he must be sacked. Our soft draw this season favours him. He has shown time and time again he doesn't have what it takes when the whips are cracking.

Nah, pass mark is playing 2 finals minimum. Either that means a top 4 finish, or winning an elim from 5th at least.

I had to laugh when I saw this thread was started by Adz who has been very strong in his defense of Bucks but said Harwick(last year) had used all his coupons. Just goes to show how biased some supporters are when the bloke coaching your club is a former club great.

Just accept everyone doesn't think the tigers are the real deal it's not the end of the world. And hey there is a hanne I'm wrong but finals finds teams and coaches out and I think both are average at the Tigers so let's see who is right. If you win a final I will come back and admit my error.

The heat shouldn't be on Hardwick this week, it should be on the idiots in Richmond's PR dept. Am I the only person who knew the Tigers would * up after going down media street? Absolutely hysterical. Only Richmond could shoot themselves in the foot so badly. Until they win a final, I'd suggest laying low.
Have to admit we are serial offenders in that regard, right back to when ten left-footers were pictured forming a "chorus line" at training before being mauled by Essendon. If anything I reckon it fires up the opposition.
Part of it is that its such an even year. What that obviously means is that the good teams arent that good, and the bad teams arent that bad.

FWIW, I don't particularly rate Hardwick any more or less than I did last year.
I reckon Mark Neeld could coach a team with Rance, Martin, Cotchin and Riewoldt all in career best form to a certain degree of success too.

I'll admit, I thought the Tigers list wasn't too far off genuinely contending, but was adamant Hardwick wasn't the man to take the team there. I was proven wrong. Good on him.
The general consensus in the footy community for years has been that the above four are great, and the rest of the side a bunch of plodders. No respect. So it sounds a bit glib your saying again that it was these four that got us over the line.
Hardwick was great this year, along with all the assistant coaches and staff. You might have noticed the song at the end of the game in the rooms, every player from VFL was included, that comes from the coach first and foremost.
