I'm betting crumpetface will have a negative story out soon on HB.
Can any WA residents add it to the thread, so we can have a morbid look at the revolting prose for interest's sake, please?

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Should never have been re-signed. We all knew that.

Meanwhile, Logue described Harley Bennell's latest calf injury as a "little minor setback" and backed the former Sun to overcome yet another hurdle in his bid to revive his stalled career.

"He's been really electric on the track and it's good to see him starting to hit his straps and I'm sure he'll be back out flying in no time," Logue said.

"He's a great talent to be seeing. I don't think I've even seen the best of him in person.

"We know what he's capable of and it will be great to see him out there for sure."

Even if he does get right, the self doubt would be crippling.

Is that the the third soft tissue for 2019?

Spotlight on SC please.
And the ground hardness. Got to be something in that.

Sounds like Harley has the confidence the players. Just get him out there and see what he can do, even if he does f-all training.

Pretty sure he has a contract til October 31st.

Lets just lower the expectations and see where he's at come round 1 and if he's likely to play any games this season.. that he's contracted for still.

Obviously expectations are at an all time low, but he's done almost a full pre-season, he should at least play a handful of games this season.

Yet another page in the saga.
How many times have we been told,"it is a minor set back". "It will only be a two week set back".
Suerely the club will have to make a decision sooner rather than later.

Ground hardness, the training camp is based on sand. Fremantle oval was a lime stone based oval.
This ground should be safe.
If he has trouble at VJK, then heaven help us when we play at Marvel.

Optus as well. However someone that posts on the board said their nephew trains on the ground and it was really hard (like playing on glass?). It's worth considering in the soft tissue injuries and rehab from the last few years.

It's hard to be confident he'll be back in a couple of weeks, but there is nothing to lose to give him opportunity to play this year and see what he can contribute.
