How does that circumstance affect the objectivity of this decision made by your club?
Why don't you **** off back to the hole from which you came?

Taking on a player with a history is very different from turning a blind eye to poor behaviour which your club did. We are trying to address the problem as opposed to ignoring it.

There is a bunch of ex eagles players whom are now suffering the consequences of party boy lifestyle. Cousins, Kerr, Chick, Fletcher. Chris Mainwaring died before your club made serious moves in the right direction.

That's just it though - you're welcoming it.

How is Lachie Weller supposed to feel, probably next in line for a spot on a wing or a half forward, has done the hard yards and earned the right to be next in line by doing the right things on and off the field - now he's pushed back in the queue for a player with a series of off field discretions.

How does that send the right message to the emerging playing group, how does that breed loyalty or set a standard for upcoming players?

That's awesome. Lachie signed until 2018. Obviously doesn't care.

If he feels aggrieved a better player is taking his spot (no offense to Weller), he shouldn't be playing league football.

So teams shouldn't trade for players ever at the risk of upsetting their incumbents?

Remember that time your club put on a yearly tribute game for a drug addict champion of the club who overdosed leaving his young children without a father? Club then paraded his children around on TV during the televised game?

We're welcoming it? Bit rich.

Could not agree more with the above.

The West Coast Eagles have suspended defender Quinten Lynch for one match and fined him $5,000 after he was arrested following a car chase through inner city Perth in the early hours of Monday morning.

The 21-year-old was alleged to have been driving a car which sped away from police when they attempted to stop it in the Como area.

The driver was arrested after stopping the car and allegedly trying to run away.

Lynch was charged with driving under the influence, failing to stop, and reckless driving, and was bailed to appear in a Perth court on Thursday.

Eagles skipper Ben Cousins said players had a responsibility to behave appropriately off the field.

"I think the coaches can get up and rant and rave about this sort of stuff as much as they like, but at the end of the day I think it's got to be player-driven and I think that's one area we are improving in," he said.

"The players themselves have got to demand professionalism from each other."

For me - this was the moment RTB through away all his credibility with respect to fostering the right culture.
I believe it's the opposite. Fremantle can take a player like Bennel because it has the right culture. Whether another club feels they could have taken him on is up to them.

Bitch please. Enough with the act. We all know that If Bennell wanted to play for the cokers youd have recruited him and you would be personally stoked with the decision.

Mr Comissioner.

Are you pissed that Eagles picked up Redden and Jetta? Both should stop Duggan's development this year, right?

And lets not talk about Lucas or Giles who both couldn't get games for their previous clubs. Even though Carlton has the worst midfield in the league and Essendon had 0 rucks.

Harry, the best part of that story relates to Lynch trying to flee the scene of the crime.

The 21 year old West Coaster, despite having a head start, was run down by a mid-40's copper. Pace was never the Q-stick's greatest asset.
