Rumour Harley Bennell

Bennell wanted to move home after he and his Mum had a BBQ at Ross's house, was pretty much a done deal before you even met with him. Yarran isn't less risk than Bennell, Harleys not playing because he's injured. Yarran isn't playing for some unknown reasons.
Harley's a greater risk but a greater pay-off.

But while on Yarran, remember he had a calf injury too, until it obviously wasn't a calf injury.

Come on now mate, the juices were flowing last October on the richmond board when Harley instagrammed that photo of he and Dusty. Only for him to reject you and the rest is history. You guys gave up more for Yarran then we did for Bennell, that's hilarious.
Pretty sure richmond rejected him

Haha it was more Harley saying his leg was fine but Ross doesn't want him at the club but hey I can't make you believe anything. He and Barlow were very very happy as well and there was not a beer in sight but that's another story.
I agree with those who are saying that the club should be told about players who have had strikes to their name. It might help clubs assist with their duty-of-care. I genuinely believe clubs feel like they would like to help one of their players if they were in trouble and not knowing means that they aren't given the choice. Maybe they can intervene before it becomes a full-blown addiction.

The insinuation in this post is that Michael Barlow was on drugs at a nightclub in Perth after a loss to GWS. If that's true there's a significant level of concern for player welfare and some serious covering-up of drug use at Fremantle. This is the first I've heard that Barlow is anything other than a really cracking bloke who loves playing footy. The club should be informed and have the appropriate people involved to help him make better choices as soon as possible.

I think the club would be very interested to know, in the interest of player welfare, what it was you saw him taking, and when.

Bennel not the only Dockers player worth worrying about. Remember coming across a photo of a Dockers player on Instagram who had his picture taken out on a boat partying with some motorcycle enthusiasts.

If this is true, what a fool. Such a wasted talent.

But it's perfectly fine for a captain of a club to drink drive. Seems to be a lot of double standards and the media are out to get him. What happened to the rest of the GCS team who did cocaine? Nothing.

Nothing wrong with him going clubbing if he isn't doing any drugs or getting piss drunk.

Sounds like something Buddy did on a regular basis on his trips to WA.

Reports tonight that Bennell has returned to Brisbane and the nightclubs.
Caro asks Hutchy on classified if Bennell will play another AFL game.

Has been there for the best part of a fortnight, dockers said it was club approved leave. That's what they actually said

Isnt he meant to have a serious calf and why does bennell need to go back to GC?
They did say on Footy Classified that he was in the Gold Coast for club approved personal reasons. So I assume some issue related to family or friend.
But you would think he would want to stay out of the spotlight. Especially at a night club where any drunken random could take a photo of him on their phone and it could be blown out of all proportions.

Whilst he has been out all year with a serious calf when they said they'd be sending him to another specialist to rehab it

I'm sorry but this stinks

It's not BS champ so don't get your knickers in a twist. Just another one of your midfielders.

So if it's not BS then name them! It's pretty simple. If you know that it's true as you claim, then name the player.

I rekon you won't, because it's bullshit.

Charlie Dixon got traded.

Dixon got traded, Stanley got delisted and re-rookied (and will be delisted entirely at the end of this season), Boston 'retired', and obviously Bennell got dumped and traded too. Get your facts straight mate.

It's certainly not BS. But I'm not going to anonymously name a player I've never heard being involved in any drugs or associating with such people before. Never seen this persons name mentioned in any papers or online prior. If you don't believe me I really don't care.

Excellent. I don't believe you. :thumbsu:
